Soon Spring will be coming to Minnesota. It is beginning to be very warm here in Puerto Vallarta.  And when it gets very warm here in PV, I am wishing I were home in Minnesota. I know most of you think I am crazy, but I do not mind the Minnesota winters.  I love the snow and if it is really cold, one bundles up. Here are a couple of thoughts about winter for you:

I do  not know who wrote this little poem. I think my sister sent it to me and I like it:

“Winter mornings, misty dawns, shivering sunshine, dew drops on lawns

Little birds they’re all puffed up, barren trees, they do look tough.

Canvass of winter skies, colors splashed with many dyes.

I might shiver in my shoes, heart still happy, I have no blues.

Winter times are such a treat, In nature’s arms, a time to retreat.”
